Zoo to auction off behind-the-scenes animal experiences and artwork by animals

(1 Comment) November 8, 2010 at 6:00AM

Zookeeper Stephanie Miller asked us to spread the word about an upcoming auction at the Woodland Park Zoo.

From the zoo’s press release:

Imagine your loved one opening a gift that promises to take him or her behind the scenes to watch an elephant bath, take a photo with a raptor, or meet an orangutan up close. Well, imagine no longer – these extraordinary gift experiences are available for bid at Woodland Park Zoo’s Holiday Silent Auction. Held by the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (PS-AAZK), the auction offers a host of gifts you can’t buy at a shopping mall: behind-the-scenes animal tours, artwork by a host of zoo animals and a variety of other gift items.
