Many Green Lake residents have a snow day today. What’s open around the neighborhood?
Recreation: The Green Lake Library was closed all day. All libraries, including Green Lake, will be open tomorrow, noon to 5 p.m. The Woodland Park Zoo closed at 3:00 p.m. The Green Lake Community Center closed at 4 p.m. today and will be open for drop-in tomorrow, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. All community center classes have been canceled through tomorrow, and Evans Pool, as well as the athletic fields, will be closed tomorrow. The Green Lake Small Craft Center will also be closed tomorrow.
Coffee Shops: Earlier today, Cafe Lulu, Mighty O Donuts, Zoka, Urban Bakery, Revolutions, Bottega Italiana, Peet’s, and Starbucks were open. Please call coffee shops this evening to confirm that they are still open.
Restaurants and Bars: The Scarlet Tree is open until 2 a.m. Tacos Guaymas is open until midnight. Turnpike Pizza is open. The Kangaroo & Kiwi Pub is open. BluWater Bistro is open until midnight. Eva Restaurant is open until 10 p.m. Latona Pub is open until midnight. Greenlake Wines is open. Tangletown’s Bandolero is open. Duke’s Chowder House is open. Thai Ocean is open. Quizno’s is open until 9 p.m. Rosita’s is open until 10:30 p.m. Nell’s is open. The Little Red Hen is open. Spud Fish and Chips was open earlier, but is now closed. Kisaku is closed every Tuesday.

Shops: PCC, Whole Foods, G & F Grocery, the Roosevelt Bartells, Park’s Pharmacy, Super Jock ‘n Jill, and Aurora Rents were all open earlier today. Please call ahead to check that they are open this evening. Greggs Cycles was closed all day.
Athletic: American Athlete was open earlier today. Please call ahead to check that they are open this evening. Stroller Strides classes are canceled. eXit SPACE Young Dancer Program classes are canceled, but Adult Program classes will most likely be held this evening (check their voice mail).
Medical: Lifestyle Chiropractic, Healing Tortoise Acupuncture and Herbs, and Spectacle Eyewear in Roosevelt were all open earlier, but are now closed.
Beauty: Skinlogic Skin Center was open earlier today but is now closed.
Lodging: Greenlake Guest House is open.
Getting Around: Metro bus routes and alerts are updating as conditions change, so check your route before you head to the bus stop. Note that there is a road closure at NE 51st St and Latona Ave NE.
