Woodland Park Zoo’s Holiday Silent Auction begins today (Friday, Nov. 19, 2010) at noon and runs until 8 p.m.
Saturday morning brings the Greenlake Run for Water, a benefit to support the construction and implementation of a bore hole that will provide clean and safe water to the people of Ilula, Kenya.
On Saturday afternoon there will be a piano concert,”Women At Present,” at the Green Lake Church of Seventh-day Adventists.
The Green Lake Gobble and Mashed Potato Munch Off is on Sunday morning. 1,700 people are expected to attend.
There are a couple of events at neighborhood cafes this weekend: you can get a free coffee tin with a $25 purchase at an “Entertaining Open House” at Peet’s Coffee and Tea on Saturday (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.), and free drinks will be available at Bottega Italiana on Saturday and Sunday.
