Anjanette Gonzales, Marketing Head at the Seattle Area German American (SAGA) School, has asked us to pass on an invitation to the Green Lake neighborhood to join the school at Winterfest, Wednesday, Dec. 15, 5 – 8 p.m.
SAGA moved to Green Lake from the University Heights Community Center at the beginning of the school year. They are now located in the old John Marshall High School building (520 NE Ravenna Blvd).
The SAGA School welcomes you to join the fun at our annual Winterfest.
Celebrate the season in traditional German style, sampling German holiday food like potato pancakes and bratwurst and drinking some non-alcoholic winter Gluhwein.
Shop SAGA’s Wintermarkt, offering crafts and goodies from local neighborhood artisans. Help SAGA raise money for a new playground by joining the silent auction and bidding on artwork, weekend getaways, piano lessons and more.
Children will have an opportunity to visit and take a picture with St. Nikolaus. If you would like your child to receive a gift from St. Nikolaus, please bring a small wrapped gift with your child’s name on it. In a supervised kid’s area, children can make holiday crafts.
The entrance fee of $7 per person (kids under two years of age are free) includes food, beverages and childcare. Bring cash or checks and enjoy an evening of German holiday fun.
If you would like to participate in the Wintermarkt as a vendor, tables are $25. Call or email us at spasscommittee [at] sagaschool.org for further information.
We look forward to seeing you on December 15th!
