2010 Green Lake Elementary School Christmas Tree Sale begins on Friday

Green Lake Elementary School‘s 25th annual Christmas Tree Sale kicks off on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The sale takes place at the school, located at 2400 N 65th St:

A wide variety of high quality cut fir trees, including Nobles, Grands, Douglas Firs and Frasers, will be available, as well as decorative wreaths and swags.

After the opening at 1 p.m. this Friday, sale days and times are:

Mondays through Fridays, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sundays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The sale closes on Sunday, Dec. 19.

All proceeds support education programs at the school by helping pay for school supplies, a reading and writing specialist, swimming, drama, art, instrumental music, vocal music, math instruction, a school science fair, and other school programs.

Hi,
We went tonight, awesome trees. They were just unloading a bunch of new trees. I really liked the variety. Prices were reasonable. There were hot drinks, music, lots of cheer, smiling people and kids running around. They also had wreaths and swags. Very impressed by it all. I have to bring my husband and kids back tomorrow to get one! I like that all the funds go to the school too. Nice to have it help the kids. Kathy
