The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) invites you to two holiday shows this season: Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol and a special SPT 10th anniversary edition of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
A 2-for-1 coupon for the opening weekend of both shows is available here.
ABOUT JACOB MARLEY’S CHRISTMAS CAROL
“Marley was dead to begin with…” And what happens after that? In this irreverent, funny and moving show, Marley has a chance to escape his own chains by redeeming Scrooge’s heart in 24 hours. In the process, he just might find his own. Described as a “charming, behind-the scenes version of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol,” the show is directed by SPT Managing Director Keith Dahlgren and perfect for a sweet ending to a holiday night out.
ABOUT THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER
This year, SPT is proud to welcome back the Herdmans for a special SPT 10th anniversary edition of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. This heart-warming, holiday staple has run to sold-out crowds each holiday season from 2000 until 2010 at the Bathhouse Theater on Green Lake. Under the direction of Artistic and Education Director Shana Bestock, the infamous Herdman kids will take over the church pageant and challenge everyone’s traditional notions of Christmas. See how a story can transform us all, even when told by a misfit group of kids in bed sheets. For small and tall elves alike, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a sure-fire hit for the holidays.
