All welcome at “Transylvania Public Library” haunted house

What do you think? (1 Comment) October 30, 2010 at 9:27PM

Karen Laurie of Cafe Lulu wrote to tell us about a neighborhood haunted house taking place in east Green Lake tomorrow night (Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010).  All Green Lake neighbors are welcome!

At the Library of Horrors, Reading is Fundamental–ly Deadly!

This month’s Story Time will be held in the Edgar Allan Poe Reading Room of the Transylvania Public Library, where fiction is fact and the stacks are alive with undead goings-on.

Our dedicated and curmudgeonly librarian, Edith Eatschildren, will read from some of horror’s finest authors, including Bram Stoker, Washington Irving, Mary Shelley and Christine O’Donnell.

Remember to bring your imagination, a garland of garlic, and a stake. Edith hopes to see you (and your small, appetizing children) on Sunday! She’ll be handing out candy to fatten them up!
