On Sunday, September 26, 2010 between 12p.m.- 5 p.m., a street mural will be painted on Stone Ave N between N 80th St and N 81st St, next to Bethany Community Church and across the street from Daniel Bagley Elementary School.

“Lots of work has already gone into this,” says Pennie O’Grady of Sustainable Green Lake. “We are excited to finally share this in a big way!”
Can you help out in the final weeks leading up to the street painting party?
Pennie is asking for help over the next two weeks distributing fliers about the event to neighborhood residences, bulletin boards, and shop windows. Help is also needed on the day of the event (Sunday, September 26), and possibly the day before. Volunteers will be asked to help with street preparation, quality control, energy flow guidance, clean up, and other tasks. “We need many hands,” Pennie says, “and some extra leadership.”
