Mayor McGinn to announce his proposed 2011 budget on Monday
The City of Seattle is facing a $67 million general fund deficit for 2011. City parks and recreation facilities, public libraries, and community center programs are all potentially vulnerable to budget cuts. Metro Route 16 rerouted in east Green Lake tomorrow (Saturday)
A note from King County Metro Transit: Due to construction work at the Pacific Color building, Route 16 is being rerouted tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010), 4 a.m. through 8 p.m. The reroute only affects the stop on Woodlawn Ave NE between NE 71st St. and NE 72nd St. Bus riders are advised to use stops north of NE 72nd St or south of NE 71st.
