The Seattle Public Library is hosting a free preview of Seattle Opera’s production of Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” at the Green Lake Branch (7364 E Green Lake Dr N) next Thursday (Sept 30, 2010), 2-3 p.m. No registration is required.
“Lucia di Lammermoor” tells the story of a Scottish nobleman who drives his sister to madness and murder.
The preview will include recorded musical excerpts designed to enhance the enjoyment and appreciation of the production.
