Here’s what’s happening in Green Lake this long weekend:
On Saturday, the Pigs Peace Sanctuary is holding its annual Walk for the Animals at Green Lake Park.
After three consecutive Sundays of lane closures on the Aurora Bridge, My Wallingford reports that crews will take this Sunday off.
Monday is the last day that the Green Lake Wading Pool will be open (weather pending).
Turnpike Pizza will be giving away free pizza on Monday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., to celebrate one year in business.
Although the library will remain closed through the weekend, it will open again on Tuesday.
