Perhaps the biggest block party in the neighborhood took place at 124 NE 61st St (currently on the market, although home owners and party throwers the Kapsners plan to stay in the area). Kids rode their bikes up and down the blocked-off street and jumped in a bouncy house while adults enjoyed a keg of IPA beer provided at cost by Elysian-Tangletown. The Elysian also donated a $50 gift certificate which was raffled off. To top it all off, Turnpike Pizza delivered some free pizzas. A great neighborhood effort!
