The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) invites you to a Youth Program performance of Much Ado About Nothing (August 20 through August 28, 2010). While all youth shows are free, donations are gladly accepted.
Directed by Shana Bestock, SPT’s 14-18 year-olds perform Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare’s sexy, side-splitting comedy about two very convoluted courtships. War-weary heroes return home, but now sparks fly as a different battle commences. Will love triumph? Come find out in this joyous, wise-cracking comedy of love, honor and second chances.
The SPT Summer Youth Program offers high-quality summer drama workshops taught by professional theater artists for youth in grades K-12. Classes empower young people with a creative means of self-expression, and build ensemble through group process.
Much Ado About Nothing performances are: August 20th, 7pm; August 21st, 7pm; August 22nd, 2pm; August 27th, 7pm; and August 28th, 2pm and 7pm.
