The Greenlake Farmers Market (6501 Aurora Ave N) is offering a free food preservation class.
Learn to can and freeze peaches this Saturday (August 14, 2010) at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the market, located at 6501 Aurora Ave N, on the same lot as the U-Haul truck-rental business.
No registration is required – just come on by. Please note that parking on-site is limited.
The Greenlake Farmers Market is open six days a week (it’s usually closed on Mondays). Hours are 10 a.m. through 7 p.m., subject to the weather.
