The Ben & Jerry’s Green Lake Scoop Shop (7900 E Green Lake Dr N) is for sale.
The scoop shop has been in Green Lake since 2008. It was located in U Village for ten years prior to that. The asking price for the shop (and the surrounding franchise territory) is $215,000, or best offer.
The shop’s owner, Andy Wuerfel, says that there has been a lot of casual interest from potential buyers, but no serious offers have emerged yet.
To become a Ben & Jerry’s franchisee requires a minimum net worth of $350,000, of which $80,000 must be liquid. Information about becoming a franchisee can be found on benjerry.com.
