Susan Wingate will be at Mockingbird Books (7220 Woodlawn Ave NE) on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 7 p.m.
The Orcas Island author will be speaking about her newest book, Easy As Pie at Bobby’s Diner. The book is the second title in the Bobby’s Diner series.
Wingate’s novel Bobby’s Diner received finalist awards in the International Book Awards, the National Book Awards, and the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.
If “Fried Green Tomatoes” met “The No. 1 Women’s Detective Agency, you’d have “Bobby’s Diner.” Running a diner ain’t always a piece of cake.
