Large (and loud) police response to NE 61st St on Saturday morning
There was a large amount of police activity in east Green Lake on Saturday morning (July 24, 2010). Several police officers, including one K-9 unit, were called to NE 61st between 1st Ave NE and Latona Ave NE. Green Lake resident Deb Kapsner reports that she was awoken shortly before 5 a.m. by the sound of a dog barking. Green Lake Spiritual Center's grand opening is this Sunday
A new spiritual center and community space is coming to the neighborhood.
