Today (Monday, June 28, 2010), between 3:32 p.m. and 3:38 p.m, a total of 21 emergency response units were sent to Green Lake’s east beach for a water rescue.
Happily, all is well. At 3:49 p.m., The Seattle Fire Department tweeted that a boat had overturned on Green Lake and the “person is now on the shore and uninjured.”
This is the second large water rescue at Green Lake this month. Take care out there, everyone!
