Free preview of Tristan and Isolde coming to the Green Lake Library

The Green Lake Branch of The Seattle Public Library (7364 E Green Lake Dr N) will host a preview of Seattle Opera’s upcoming production of Wagner’s “Tristan and Isolde” on Thursday, July 22, 2-3 p.m.

The previews are free and open to the public. No registration is required.

“Tristan and Isolde” tells the story of the tragic medieval legend accompanied by Wagner’s influential score. The opera features soprano Annalena Persson as Isolde and tenor Clifton Forbis as Tristan.

The preview will include recorded musical excerpts designed to enhance the enjoyment and appreciation of the production.
