Green Lake: Home to indie band Garage Voice
We just got word that Seattle’s Garage Voice, the jazz-inspired rock & roll trio, is based out of Green Lake. According to our tipster, all three band members (Tommy Panigot, Bruce Pearson, and Patrick Toney) live in the neighborhood, and “they LOVE Green Lake.” Garage Voice will next be performing at Ballard’s Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) on Wednesday, July 14th at 9pm along with another North Seattle band, Pablo Trucker. World Wide Knit in Public Day comes to Green Lake Park
If you’re at the lake today (and, judging by this amazing weather, most of Seattle probably will be), you may come across a celebration of World Wide Knit in Public Day, hosted by The Seattle NorthEnd Knitters.
