Triathlon Hall of Famer Sally Edwards coming to Green Lake

Gregg’s Greenlake Cycle will be hosting Sally Edwards, a Triathlon Hall of Famer and competitor in over 150 triathlons, at a speaking engagement and autograph signing on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, 6:30 – 10 p.m. This long time competitor, author and pioneer in the sport of Triathlon will be here for one night only to talk to people about her experiences in the triathlon world and motivate you to try it out at the upcoming Trek Women’s Triathlon Series. Join Biggest Loser Ali Vincent at Green Lake basketball courts tomorrow (Wednesday)

Ali Vincent, the Season 5 winner on The Biggest Loser, is coming to Green Lake. Vincent has invited Seattle to join her for an impromptu workout tomorrow (Wednesday, June 23, 2010) at 1 p.m.  She’ll be on the Green Lake basketball courts, located behind the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N). Vincent is on tour with Famous Footwear.  She is the author of Believe It, Be It: How Being the Biggest Loser Won Me Back My Life. Update: This event will begin at noon tomorrow, not 1 p.m. as previously reported.

Green Lake Community Center kicks off summer offerings for teens

It’s the last day of school! Green Lake teens looking for something to do this summer will find plenty of options at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N), beginning with a party this afternoon (Tuesday, June 22, 2010), 2-5 p.m. LAST DAY OF SCHOOL BASH Join us to celebrate the last day of school.  We’ll barbecue, play games and give you another chance to hang out with friends that you may not see during the summer. Free performances of American comedy Fuddy Meers at the Seattle Public Theater

The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) invites you to its Senior Showcase Fuddy Meers.  The show runs July 2nd through July 10th, 2010.
