Today (Monday, June 28, 2010), between 3:32 p.m. and 3:38 p.m, a total of 21 emergency response units were sent to Green Lake’s east beach for a water rescue. Happily, all is well. At 3:49 p.m., The Seattle Fire Department tweeted that a boat had overturned on Green Lake and the “person is now on the shore and uninjured.” This is the second large water rescue at Green Lake this month.
