Large tree falls as stormy weather continues in Green Lake

Fallen TreeA large tree fell to the ground some time last night or this morning (Wednesday, June 2, 2010) at Woodland Pl N and N 64th St, near the Greenlake Farmers Market.

The tree is not blocking traffic.  We have not heard word of any injuries related to the tree falling.

Meanwhile, the rain keeps falling.  Stay dry, Green Lake!

    Have you seen any ducklings recently at Green Lake? Recently crows have been stalking the baby ducks and picking them off one by one!

    Ugh, that's awful!

    I haven't seen any ducklings myself in the last week or so, but I haven't really been looking. I'll keep an eye out.
