The Green Lake Gobble & Mashed Potato Munch Off is returning to Green Lake!
This year’s Gobble will be Sunday, November 21st, 2010. Online registration opened yesterday.
The events begins at 9:10 a.m. with a free Kids Dash, followed by a 5K run/walk at 9:30 a.m. and the Mashed Potato Munch Off at 10:45 a.m. The race course can be viewed here.

Purchase a raffle ticket for $1 and then wait to see onsite if you are one of the eight (un)lucky people who get selected to enter in this competitive eating event.
All eight contestants will compete head to head to see who can eat the most mashed potatoes within three minutes time. A winner will be crowned, given some prize money and will additionally win a life-time entry into the Green Lake Gobble 5K event (for as long as it exists).
The event comes to us courtesy of Promotion Events, the same folks behind Green Lake’s Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Valentine’s Day Dash and Top Pot Doughnuts 5K Doughnut Dash.
