The Green Lake neighborhood is getting a florist.
Green Lake Floral Design will be open for business on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 7212 Woodlawn Ave NE, between Rosita’s Mexican Grill and Mockingbird Books.
This location was previously occupied by Billings Middle School. The school, which is primarily located across the street, used the space as an auxiliary computer lab. In March, the storefront next to it was gutted by a fire.
Terry Jones, who is opening the shop, also owns Lake City Florist (11742 15th Ave NE).
The shop will be a full service florist and will offer delivery. Custom “grab and go” bouquets will also be available.
