Our long, dry year is almost over. On March 21, 2009, the Wallingford liquor store rolled the last case of hooch out the front door and turned the keys over to Archie McPhee.
Four hundred and thirty-three days later, on Friday, May 28, 2010, the store is scheduled to re-open in the shell vacated by Hollywood Video, at 118 N.E. 45th St just across from Dick’s. Hours will be 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Mon – Thu, and 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
