The Green Lake Branch of the Seattle Public Library (7364 E Green Lake Dr N) offers two monthly book groups to the community, free of charge. Everyone is welcome and registration is not required.
The Evening Book Group meets every third Tuesday, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
The title for this month’s meeting (May 18, 2010) is “Palace Walk” by Najib Mahfouz (find it at the library and on amazon.com).
Next month’s title (June 15, 2010) will be “Left Hand of Darkness” by Ursula Le Guin (find it at the library and on amazon.com).
The Afternoon Book Group meets the second Wednesday of the month, 3:30 – 4:45 p.m.
The title for this month’s meeting (May 12, 2010) is “River Town” by Peter Hessler (find it at the library and on amazon.com).
Next month‘s title (June 9, 2010) will be “Eat, Pray, Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert (find it at the library and on amazon.com).
In July (July 14, 2010), the group will discuss “The Memory Keeper’s Daughter” by Kim Edward (find it at the library and on amazon.com).
