Seattle DRAGONSLAYER Bike, Hike or Trike is coming to Green Lake Park on Saturday, April 24, 2010, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event is a fundraiser for the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation. From nwsarcoma.org:
This is a fun 5K walk, run or bike event around Green Lake Park to support sarcoma patients and their families. Registration begins at 9:00 A.M. with the walk starting at 10:00 A.M.
A young cancer patient coined the phrase “DRAGONSLAYER” to give a name to his fight with sarcoma cancer. It is our goal to win this fight! Our event raises money for advocacy, education, sarcoma research and the programs the Foundation supports.
Don’t miss this opportunity to come together with family and friends in support of the sarcoma community. You can register as a team or as an individual. A kid’s areas will be available complete with bike decorating and face painting. A photographer will be on hand to take photos of the event as well as individual and group photos. Raffle prizes will be given throughout the event. We look forward to seeing you on the 24th.
