Registration has begun for NARAL Pro-Choice Washington‘s 7th Annual “Run for your Rights!” 5K Run/Walk at Green Lake Park.
The 5K run/walk will be on Saturday, May 8, 2010. On-site registration begins at 10:15 a.m., there will be a rally at 10:45 a.m., and step-off is at 11 a.m. The event is family and pet friendly.
Last year’s “Run for your Rights!” event drew over 500 participants to Green Lake.

Anti-choice protesters won’t spoil our fun in the sun. Instead, they’ll help us raise funds!This year we’ll be collecting pledges in honor of the 15-20 anti-choice protesters that have been at our event the last several years. We’ll be sure to let them know how much we “appreciate” them by announcing at the start of the run/walk how much money they raised for us.
