Come celebrate the Earth at Latona Pub‘s first annual Earth Day celebration
Day: April 19th, 2010
Time: 7 pm
Address: 6423 Latona Ave NE

This year Latona Pub will be hosting a brewer’s night celebration with the infamous Hale’s Brewery of Frelard (Fremont-Ballard area).

If you did not have enough time to go the the Moisture Festival this year then come to this brewers night celebration to support a local brewery that likes to remind it’s patrons to “Think Globally. Drink Locally.”

You can come to the Latona Pub to get geared up for planting trees on Earth Day this year (April 22). How does drinking at the Latona benefit the environment you ask?

Well, the beer that is poured on our rotating tap list is usually brewed in the Pacific Northwest, sometimes right up the street, so you can rest assured that a minimal amount of petroleum is being used to transport it. Actually, during our Earth week celebration Elliott, our hardworking pub manager, will be huffing all of the beer kegs by foot (via a wheeled device of some sort) and guarantees that none will be delivered by a combustion engine!

Also, patronizing a locally owned pub that supports locally owned breweries will be a great way to give back to the community.

Lastly, Latona strives to serve organic beef, locally grown produce, and to recycle all of it’s bottles, cans, plastic, and newspapers.

So come on down to the Pub and have a brew next Monday! For more information about the pub, sign up for our facebook site, or get tapped into our twitter stream to stay updated on the beers on tap. Check out our website at: http://www.3pubs.com/Latona.html

Cheers for Beers!
