Jogger attacked at Green Lake Park

SeattleCrime.com is reporting that a woman was attacked at 10 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Green Lake Park.  According to a police report, a man grabbed her and tried to force her off the running trail.

The woman was running south on the Greenlake trail near the stadium at the south end of the lake at about 10:00am on April 11th, when she was a man walking towards her. The woman thought the man “looked suspicious because he was wearing a big puffy jacket” when it was warm outside, and also appeared to be “sizing her up.”

    How does this happen at 10am? Any news on whether police were called or if other Greenlakers tried to help? The lake was a zoo yesterday!
