PhinneyWood, our friendly neighbors to the west, reported today that a free full-color, fold-out walking map of Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, and the surrounding areas is now available.

The map was produced by the Greenwood-Phinney Chamber of Commerce and Pacific Publishing Company (publisher of the free paper North Seattle Herald-Outlook).

The map covers a good chunk of west Green Lake.  Coverage extends east to Densmore Ave N, south to N 52nd St and north to just past NW 105th St.

From PhinneyWood:

It includes parks, major landmarks, a list of neighborhood resources and events, and ads for more than 50 businesses in the neighborhood (including PhinneyWood).

Free maps are available at dozens of neighborhood businesses, as well as the Greenwood Neighborhood Service Center at 8515 Greenwood Ave. N., Phinney Neighborhood Center at 6532 Phinney Ave. N., and the Woodland Park Zoo.
