Police are on their way to Greenlake to deal with a woman who stripped down and jumped in the lake at about 8:30 am.

Officers have called for a medic unit and an officer equipped with a Taser.

We’ll let you know what happens.

Update @ 8:54: Police have located the Lady of the Lake but have not found her clothes. She wouldn’t talk to officers and is being sent to Harborview.

And nope, it wasn’t Mrs. Violet Glass.

I was the person who got this woman out of the lake.  Right before the police came, I went down to the water and was able to get her out.  I put on her sweatshirt, and then the police came with towels and took her away.  She appeared very disoriented and allowed me to put on her sweatshirt.  I feel sorry for her, and don’t know what happened after the police got there.  Very sad.  Also, I would like to mention that only a few of us paid attention and offered to help.  I approached one woman with a cell phone and she ignored me.  Come on people, we need to take care of each other.
