Open Enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year at Seattle Public Schools (SPS) began yesterday (Monday, March 1) and runs through Wednesday, March 31, 2010.

Every address has an attendance area elementary, middle, and high school. You can use the Address Look Up Tool to find your attendance area schools.

During Open Enrollment, you may use the School Choice Forms to register your child to enter SPS in fall 2010 and/or apply for a school other than your assigned school.  There are several ways to submit the forms, including in person at the Green Lake Library (7364 E Green Lake Dr N) on Tuesday, March 16, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

All applications received by 8:00 p.m. on March 31, 2010 will be processed together and assigned according to tiebreakers. There is no difference between an application received on March 1 and one received on March 31.

Still making up your mind about your neighborhood school?  There will be a McDonald Elementary School open house at Lincoln High School (4400 Interlake Ave N) on Saturday, March 6th, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.  School visits are also available at all SPS schools.
