A sensory garden is coming to Woodland Park

A sensory garden is coming to the Woodland Park Rose Garden (750 N 50th St). Steve Little of the Ballard Lions Club and the Friends of the Rose Garden shared information about the sensory garden at last week’s Green Lake Community Council meeting. Sensory gardens, which make use of all the senses, are typically used as therapy gardens.  Plants and landscape elements are chosen for the garden based on not just their visual qualities, but also their smell, texture, sound, and taste. This weekend in Green Lake

There’s a lot to do this weekend (March 19-21, 2010) in Green Lake: Dying City opens tonight at the Seattle Public Theater at the Green Lake Bathhouse. Dying City opens tonight at the Seattle Public Theater

Tonight is the opening night of Dying City at the Seattle Public Theater (SPT) at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N). View new Aurora mural (and eat free pizza!) on Tuesday, March 23

The next Sustainable Green Lake (SGL) gathering will be Tuesday, March 23, 2010, 6:30 p.m., at DaVinci’s Pizza (7617 Aurora Ave N). The “Awake to a New Aurora” neighborhood mural will be unveiled. From Pennie O’Grady: Come for free pizza and be among the first to view a new neighborhood mural on Aurora!
