This Wednesday, March 31, 2010, join the American Cancer Society in Green Lake and find out more about DetermiNation. A local DetermiNation team will meet for a group run at 6:30 p.m. across the street from the Green Lake Starbucks (7100 E Green Lake Dr N). Green Lake salon and pediatrician partner to raise funds for children injured in Haiti earthquake
Peggy Sarjeant, a local pediatrician who traveled to the Dominican Republic five days after Haiti’s earthquake, wrote to tell us about a Green Lake fundraiser to aid children injured in the earthquake. Sugarcomb Salon, which is located at Linden Corners (780 N 73rd St), will be opening its doors (on a first come first served basis) to clients from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 12 and Monday, April 19.
