Attention all Seattle runners, there’s a new running group on Meetup:

Seattle’s Green Lake is one of the most popular destinations for urban runnings. Because of its popularity it should be easy to get a consistent set of fellow runners together.

Everyone is invited to come regardless of how fast and far you can go. There will be a person for everyone to run with. As the group grows we will setup more times, and have more events.

Times:
-Wednesdays at 6am @ Starbucks [7100 E Green Lake Dr N] on the east side of the lake.
-Saturdays at 7am @ TBA

Their first meetup is scheduled for Wednesday, March 24th, at 6:00 a.m., so not in time for you to train for the fast-approaching RainMan Triathlon, but plenty of time for Top Pot Doughnuts 5K dash. Both events are one lap around Green Lake, which is 2.8 miles or 5 kilometers (well, 4.5 kilometers if you’re playing exact numbers).
