Coming soon to Circa Green Lake: a pain management clinic and a branch of Edward Jones

What do you think? (7 Comments) March 27, 2010 at 9:51AM

Two new commercial establishments are coming to the Circa Green Lake building, located at the site of the old Albertson’s grocery store (6900 East Green Lake Way N).

The Mind Your Body Clinic will be opening April 1, 2010 in a storefront on the Woodlawn Ave NE side of the building.

The clinic, a branch of which is located in Edmonds, focuses on pain management:

At Mind Your Body Clinic, we help people suffering from all forms of pain reclaim their lives by providing education of pain principles, supervised medication management, opioid detoxification, interventional procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic injections, implantation of pain reducing devices, and psychological evaluation. One of our philosophies is to integrate modern medicine technologies with alternative treatments such as acupuncture, cupping, and massage. We accept doctor referrals and accept most insurance plans including L&I and Medicare.

Also coming to Circa: a branch of Edward Jones, a financial services firm that supplies “financial products at an individual investor level.” A permit for an illuminated wall sign that reads “EDWARD JONES INVESTMENTS” was issued on March 3, 2010.

There was previously a Green Lake branch of Edward Jones at 7102 Woodlawn Avenue NE, the current location of The Big Hole.

Mind Your Body Clinic and Edward Jones will join Circa‘s current retail tenants: Turnpike Pizza and I Love Hot Yoga of Greenlake, as well as Greenlake Kids Dentistry, which will be opening its doors on May 3, 2010.

Previously, there were hints that a smoothie shop and a children’s play space and cafe may be coming to the Circa Green Lake building.  These establishments, however, never materialized.

Welcome to Green Lake, Mind Your Body and Edward Jones!

Update, 3:30 p.m.: After this post went live this morning, we heard off-the-record from a person-in-the-know that an Emerald City Smoothie store is coming to Circa Green Lake.  Rumor also has it that a small local bank, a hair salon, and a sushi restaurant are in the running for a commercial lease at Circa.  We’ll keep you posted!

Actually, the old Edward Jones was on the block that is now the giant hole, not the block that now has Revolutions.

Thank you, DP! I've updated the post.

Please feel free to let us know if you see anything at all on the site that needs correcting – we really appreciate it!

Greenlake needs more restaurants. Very glad to hear a sushi place may be headed our way.
