The Trees of Green Lake: March

What do you think? (No Comments) March 1, 2010 at 8:00AM

Yep, it’s another edition of The Trees of Green Lake, a monthly series which draws from Trees of Green Lake, written and published by Arthur Lee Jacobson.  This fantastic book is available for purchase directly from the author and for checkout at the Seattle Public Library.

Jacobson writes of the month of March at Green Lake Park:

By late March most native deciduous shrubs and trees are leafing out.  We still may have serious frosts, not to mention much rain, and sometimes sunshine or fog for variety’s sake.
