Word just came out over twitter and facebook that registration has begun for the summer and fall programs at the Green Lake School-Age Care Program (GLSA).
GLSA is a non-profit childcare serving children ages 5-12. They provide before-and after-school care during the school year as well as a full-day summer program. While they primarily serve children from Green Lake Elementary School, they also welcome children from other schools in the area.
GLSA is located at 6415 1st Ave NE, directly across the street from Green Lake Elementary in that awesome castle-like building that houses the Green Lake United Methodist Church. GLSA is connected to the church (it is a part of the church’s outreach program), but is a nonsectarian organization.
The summer program includes swimming at Evans Pool, sports, games, music, drama, bicycling, skating, arts and crafts, science exploration, cooking, activities to promote literacy, and community activism.
Registration information can be found here.
