Did you see some fire trucks at the Circa Green Lake building this evening (Saturday, March 20, 2010)?
At 8:48 p.m., two units were called to the building, located at 6900 East Green Lake Way N.
After hearing word of the fire trucks over twitter, we gave Turnpike Pizza a call.
The helpful staff at Turnpike confirmed that fire trucks had arrived and residents were asked to evacuate the building. By 9:15 p.m., however, residents were given the all-clear to re-enter the building, and, as far as the staff of Turnpike could tell, there had never been an actual fire. Sounds like it was a false alarm.
If we find out anything further, we’ll be sure to let you know. (If you were at the scene, let us know if got the story straight!).
