David Frockt, candidate for State Senate in the 46th District (which includes north Green Lake), met with voters on Saturday at the Urban Bakery in Green Lake.
From Frockt for Senate:
The conversation covered a wide range of areas, but eventually focused on the challenges of the initiative process and the impact on Washington state’s budget.
In addition to these coffee meetings, which David is holding every other week, David has been going door to door to talk to voters across the district. He’s knocked on nearly 1,000 doors since the middle of January.
When he asks what voters are thinking about, many people laugh and throw their hands in the air. The typical response to this question: “There’s just so much…” Among the variety of issues that are raised in these precinct walks, voters consistently express concerns about how to get job growth going again in the state as well as health insurance reform.
