Traffic disruptions and increased noise levels near Aurora Ave in Green Lake begin tonight

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) recently began a new project which will bring more real-time traffic information to drivers on SR 99 (Aurora Avenue N).  Crews are installing new traffic cameras, signal timers and electronic overhead message boards.

This construction project will impact traffic and noise levels near Green Lake beginning tonight.

Disruptions that will affect the Green Lake neighborhood:

Thursday, Feb. 25
Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound or southbound SR 99 at Winona Avenue N. from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Monday, March 1
Crews will close the right lane of northbound SR 99 from N. 85th Street to N. 100th Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound and southbound SR 99 at Winona Avenue N. overnight from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Tuesday, March 2
Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound and southbound SR 99 at N. 77th Street overnight from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Wednesday, March 3
Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound or southbound SR 99 at N. 80th Street from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Thursday, March 4
Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound or southbound SR 99 at N. 83rd Street from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Monday, March 8
Crews will close up to two lanes of northbound and southbound SR 99 at N. 85th Street from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.
