Top Pot Doughnuts 5K dash coming to Green Lake Sunday, April 25th

From the fine folks who brought us the Love ‘em or Leave ‘em Valentine’s Day Dash and the Green Lake Gobble & Mashed Potato Munch Off, next up is the Top Pot Doughnuts Inaugural 5K Doughnut Dash & Walk.

Sunday, April 25, 2010
Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N)
8:00 a.m. – Registration
9:15 a.m. – FREE 1K kids dash
9:30 a.m. – 5K run & walk
10:30 a.m. – Awards ceremony

Your $30 entry free scores you a limited edition Top Pot Doughnut Dash t-shirt and doughnuts and coffee after the race, plus $1 from each registration will be donated to Childhaven.

Register online or locally in person at Super Jock n Jill (7210 E Green Lake Dr N) and Road Runner Sports (7020 Woodlawn Ave NE).

I totally agree! I was disappointed to find that only $1.00 was going to Childhaven

if you want to see more given, then bring your wallet and give to your hears desire. This was the first annual rung. give them a break.

I like the idea of fundraising for Childhaven but $1 per participant is practically nothing. I would like to see Top Pot should 'up' the amount to really contribute to such a great cause.
