Not only can you do so, but Feng Shui experts say you must – to keep happiness and prosperity flowing to your door in the form of positive life energy, or chi. As your front garden’s chi goes, so goes your life. Whatever your feeling about such ephemeral things may be, much of Feng Shui is based upon common design sense – things that make humans more comfortable. The Green Lake Archives: The Patterson Tract
And now, another installment from the Green Lake Archives! Our last blast from the past came via a 1903 missive authored by “Green Lake Kicker.” In the same edition of The Interlaken, adjacent to the Kicker’s dog-hating rant, we find this interesting letter, showing community-support for the as-yet-built Green Lake playground, community center, bathhouse and swimming beaches. Update, 9:25 a.m. We just came across these great photos from a vigil held on September 12, 2004 in honor of the American soldiers and Iraqi civilians lost in the war. The vigil was sponsored by Sound Nonviolent Opponents of War…

Instead, court-appointed defense attorneys would conduct the interview on behalf of defendants representing themselves. The initiative stems in part from a disturbing scene that played out at King County Superior Court, in which accused rapist Sankarandi Skanda repeatedly violated court orders while…
