Mayor McGinn wants your input on the Seattle Youth and Families Initiative

Mayor Mike McGinn is inviting Seattleites to participate in the Youth and Families Initiative, a major initiative announced during his inaugural address which will shape the city of Seattle’s agenda on youth and family issues. Seattle Humane Society's Max Mobile coming to Roosevelt on Thursday

This Thursday, February 25th, the Seattle Humane Society’s Max Mobile will be making a stop in nearby Roosevelt.  Find them 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Roosevelt Square Whole Foods (1026 NE 64th St). The MaxMobile is a bright yellow, 33-foot, custom-built mobile adoption and education center loaded with dogs, cats, and even a few rabbits, ready for on-the-spot adoption.

Seattle City Light is working to keep our neighborhood's streetlights lit

Seattle City Light has asked us to share some important information with you regarding streetlights.  The following comes from Seattle City Councilmember Bruce Harrell and Seattle City Light Superintendent Jorge Carrasco.  (We’ve bolded some key passages for you skimmers out there.)
