Green Lake residential development at site of former Twin Teepees has been bought
The Puget Sound Business Journal is reporting that the site of the former Twin Teepees restaurant (7201 Aurora Ave N, a block south of Beth’s Cafe) has been purchased. Kelly Baker of Gramor Development Washington said his firm bought the half-completed residential development for $2.1 million. Baker said Gramor will spend another $2.5 million to finish the 24-unit apartment complex and commercial building. Traffic disruptions and increased noise levels near Aurora Ave in Green Lake begin tonight
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) recently began a new project which will bring more real-time traffic information to drivers on SR 99 (Aurora Avenue N). The Green Lake Pitch & Putt (a.k.a. the Greenlake Golf Course) is sheduled to open for the season on Monday, March 1.
