Last year, I decided that I no longer wanted to drive to my dentist, so I started the search for a Green Lake option. I eventually decided upon a new place in the neighborhood called Lakeside Dental Center, located at 7900 E. Green Lake Dr. N., right above Zeek’s Pizza and Blu Water. Lakeside is now coming up on it’s one-year anniversary, and we’re very happy to have them on board as an advertiser on My Green Lake.
Lakeside Dental Center is made up of one dentist – the very laid-back and uber-nice Dr. Shokofeh Tabaraie – and a staff of equally nice technicians and office staff.

On my first visit, Shokofeh told me that she just wanted a visit to her clinic feel like a relaxed time catching up with your girlfriends, and I’d say that this is an excellent description of my experience there. It’s also worth noting that she managed to get my squirrelly 2-year-old to happily sit still for at least 30 minutes, which is, truly, rather awesome.
Anytime that we bring on a new advertiser at My Green Lake, we let them know that we are happy to publish information about their business on the site, as long as it would be of some interest or value to Green Lake residents. (By the way, we will always clearly tell you when we are writing about an advertiser, both in the text of the post and by using the tag “advertiser“. And, of course, we also publish news and events from all Green Lake businesses, whether or not they are advertisers on the site!)
When we asked Shokofeh what she would like her Green Lake neighbors to know about her dental practice, here is some of what she asked us to share with you:
Lakeside Dental is very dedicated to being environmentally friendly. Remarkably, the entire office is paperless.
Shokofeh is very focused on creating positive relationships with her patients: she considers many of them to be her friends. She respects her patients and believes in sharing information with them and educating them about what she is doing, and why.
Lakeside Dental has a young, techie vibe. Shokofeh invests in new, effective dental technologies. For example, she recently purchased a digital x-ray machine which provides more detailed readings than traditional x-rays while also reducing exposure to radiation.
So there you have it, Green Lake. If you’re in the market for a Green Lake dentist, and you’re looking for somewhere laid-back, friendly, and modern, Shokofeh is your gal.
