Do you know how to get in touch with Tim, the owner of the espresso stand that used to be by the boat rentals?

What do you think? (10 Comments) February 23, 2010 at 8:15PM

A query from My Green Lake reader Amber Mitrotti:

Does anybody know Tim, the owner of the espresso stand that used to be by the boat rentals? I used to stop by all the time and chat. I would love to track him down since the stand appears to be gone and not coming back. I’ve known him for years and am now sad that I don’t know how to get in contact with him. If anyone can help that would be great!

Do you have any information about Tim?  Let us know in the comments to this post or via our tip form.

Update, 9:45 p.m.:  A helpful reader just let us know that Tim staffs the coffee cart for the Seattle Public Theater at the Bathhouse. So, if  would like to get in touch with Tim, stop in for a show!

Update, 9:50 p.m.:  Wow, you guys are awesome!  Just as we were publishing the above update, this post received a comment from Shana Bestock, Artistic Director at Seattle Public Theater, confirming that Tim can be found in the lobby of the Bathhouse Theater for all Seattle Public Theater mainstage performances.

I sure do! Tim can be found in the lobby of the Bathhouse Theater for all Seattle Public Theater mainstage performances, doling out coffee and charm in equal measure. He can also be found at his new shop in Lake City….I'm afraid I don't have the exact address on hand. But he's terrifically and rightfully proud of it!

Tim is a fabulous community treasure, and we are thrilled he's continued his relationship with Seattle Public even though he's moved off the lake!

Thank you, Shana! I've updated the post above.

One more reason to love the Seattle Public Theater…! :)
