My Fiancee and I LOVE the Tangletown area and especially in the warmer months love going to Luau for cocktails and happy hour. Such a great, fun and light atmosphere with good drinks and excellent friendly service. I hope the new place isn't all dark and too fancy-pants for the area! We are going to miss Luau! I don't think anyone has ever bought one of Hazelwood's $15 frozen dinners in Ballard.<br><br>I sure hope they have a decent menu though, it would be great to have another close option besides Latona Pub and Tangle Town. I don't thik that have a"barlounge only" is an option. Washington State liquor laws require a certain percentage of booze-to-food sales to getkeep a Class H license. It was fabulous when it first opened. I'm not sure I like the idea of a bar/lounge only in such a residential area. I would rather see another restaurant. A breakfast joint would have been great!
